Our Flea & Tick Treatment is designed to help remove fleas and ticks from your pet during their grooming appointment. The service includes a flea and tick shampoo, thorough rinsing, and careful combing to help eliminate fleas, flea dirt, and loose debris from the coat. If ticks are found, we will remove them safely whenever possible. Please note that this treatment helps address active fleas and ticks on your pet at the time of grooming but does not provide long-term prevention or guarantee complete elimination. We recommend consulting your veterinarian about year-round flea and tick prevention to protect your pet from future infestations. Important: Pets with heavy infestations may require additional grooming time and cleaning procedures, which may result in an additional fee.

Anal gland expression is a quick procedure that helps relieve discomfort caused by full or impacted anal glands. Dogs naturally express these glands during bowel movements, but some need occasional assistance. Our groomer will gently express the anal glands externally during your pet's grooming appointment when appropriate. This service may help reduce scooting, excessive licking of the rear, and unpleasant odors associated with full glands. Please Note: If your pet has severely impacted, infected, painful, or recurring anal gland issues, we recommend evaluation and treatment by a veterinarian, as internal expression or medical care may be necessary.

De-Shedding is essential for regulating your pet's body temperature and preventing skin irritating painful mats. This applies to high shed dogs such as Huskies, German shepherds and all double coated dogs

We will buzz your dog down to short hair. This service is for pets with severe matting that requires extra time, care, and specialized grooming techniques. Heavy mats can cause discomfort, restrict movement, trap moisture, and hide skin irritation or other underlying conditions. Our groomer will assess your pet's coat and determine the safest approach. In many cases, shaving underneath the mats is the most humane and comfortable option to prevent unnecessary pain or injury. We will never attempt to brush out severe matting if doing so would compromise your pet's well-being. Keep in mind you do not require this service if your dog has light matting, this is only necessary for heavily matted dogs.
